Perfect spot for a cozy desert getaway

We can’t say enough good things about our stay at the Volcano Vortex! It had the cozy familiarity of a trip to a beloved aunt’s house you’ve been visiting since childhood. The house has everything you’d need on a trip to the desert. There’s even a friendly goat right in the backyard (she was very quiet and polite) as well as a sweet donkey. The hosts have great taste in cowboy art. Hot tip: if you’re planning to take advantage of the fabulous hot tub, and you should, bring a robe because those desert nights and early mornings are chilly! We’d definitely stay here again on a future trip.

The house we originally booked was occupied. The property manager had another property that he had available. It was as nice as the original booking with similar amenities. He did need time to have the cleaners come in and get the property prepared for our stay. He allowed us to enter the property prior to the cleaning, it worked out well.

Excellent views with a worry free getaway

The ideal location for a vacation rental with perfect customer service. The property manager responded within seconds, even on Christmas and reduced any worries in regards to accessing the property. It is a very well maintained property with all the amenities.

Heaven in the desert!

Amazing ranch property plenty of space to explore. House has lots of fun decor and plenty of amenities too. We loved how quiet it is here and the location is perfect for day trips all over the desert. Great communication with staff. So relaxing here. Felt like home while we stayed at the ranch, Going to miss it. It’s a special place. Lucky to have stayed here. Thank you!!!

Perfect with starting problems

We really loved the beautiful house and the surrounding. All the little nice details, absolutely wonderfull. Only to find the property was more difficult than expected. We had not the 5 digit number on the street. And there is no sign with the name.

He forgot we were coming.

We arrived at about 8pm and the Vrbo was not clean and ready for us. We did get in contact with them and ended up deciding to leave and find another place to stay. He did refund us immediately. It was strange that the door code he provided still worked even though he forgot we were coming. I don’t think it is changed regularly.
