"午前中に用事があり到着が遅くなってしまったのですが、とても暖かく迎えていただきました。（遅くなることは電話連絡していました）部屋や各施設も清潔に保たれていたと思います。朝食でいただいたカブのポタージュ、キャッシュ、焼きたてのパン、ヨーグルトなど、どれもとても美味しかったです。オーナーご夫婦（？）の優しさ、暖かさが心地よく、また利用したいなと思うペンションでした。"

Top Yunokami Hotel Reviews

YU-FURI NASU-TAKAO ONSEN LODGE

10/10 Excellent

"Traditional Japanese stay. Great experiences"

Toyoko Inn Aizuwakamatsu Ekimae

8/10 Good

"Easy access to train station. Staff was friendly and helpful. Half the building is smoking, half not. We didn't smell the smoking from our non smoking room, but you can smell it a little in the multi purpose areas. Room was nice and a good size. Bed was very hard. The outside was quiet, but you could hear people in the halls and and in other rooms coughing through the walls. There's only one elevator so you sometimes had to wait a bit, especially around breakfast. Breakfast was traditional japanese, with things like katsu, rice, soup, salad, veggie sides, bread roll, eggs and ham. Amenities: soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, pj's (one size fits all-- too small for my hubby) and slippers. There's some food options within walking distance."

Shousuke no Yado Takinoyu

10/10 Excellent

"My wife, our infant son, and I had an excellent stay here for two nights. The hotel has been thoroughly updates and the rooms are beautiful and comfortable, with all of them having views of the river and forest. The staff were all friendly and accommodating, and went out of their way to make things work with our son. The public baths were in excellent condition and spotlessly clean, and the two footbaths were a nice touch that we used regularly as well. The included breakfasts and dinners were also excellent, and far better than I expected for the very reasonable price we paid for them, using local and seasonal ingredients including wagyu and koshihikari rice. There was also a good selection of local premium sake and other drinks for purchase with the included meals. As a bonus, there were also a variety of beautiful and colourful yukata available for female guests to pick from, and my wife really enjoyed this. My only qualm is the advertised free beer with you visits to the bath - which came in a laughably small cup that warmed up quickly and was not refreshing at all after a hot soak, but it was a great stay otherwise so it doesn't matter. Note that many staff spoke some English, but many did not, and having even a limited knowledge of Japanese made things much easier for us. Most guests were Japanese but everyone was very welcoming to foreign guests."

Onyado Toho（ORIX HOTELS & RESORTS）

10/10 Excellent

"We stayed in a Japanese-style room with a city view, and the view from the 12th floor was amazing. We arrived before 3:00 p.m., and our room was ready within five minutes. However, we noticed a large dust ball on the floor, which concerned us slightly since we slept directly on the floor for two nights. The hotel is located on a hillside, and the restaurant only operates during breakfast and dinner hours. Fortunately, the breakfast and dinner buffets made our stay easier and allowed us more time to enjoy the Onsen. The hotel provides shuttle service to sightseeing locations, where guests can take taxis or loop buses. Due to rainy weather, we explored less but enjoyed walking 15 minutes to a local ramen shop run by an elderly Japanese couple. The hotel provides local goodies in the room that can be purchased at the hotel shop. I recommend buying them there, as some items are hard to find elsewhere. An elderly Japanese lady also sells fresh peaches in the lobby each morning. They were sweeter and cheaper than the peaches at Sendai Morning Market. The hotel does not have laundry facilities, but it offers a great chance to experience local Japanese culture. The Onsen experience was memorable, especially watching the moon at night and enjoying green mountain views during the day."

Aizuwakamatsu Washington Hotel

8/10 Good

"This was a nice hotel located very close to aizuwakamatsu station. It was dated- the bathroom was clean, but had a kind of old smell. The air conditioning didn’t work well, but it was cool enough to open the window. There were no laundry facilities, but there was a coin laundry pretty close by. We were given drink vouchers for each night’s stay but we didn’t use them because we felt underdressed for the restaurant. The staff was very friendly and helpful- we transferred luggage and they were very helpful with that. Close to a 7-eleven and restaurants were nearby. Overall a nice stay and would stay again if going to the Aizu area."
