"We were a bit disappointed because the hotel description on hotels.com said the pool would be open in April, but when we checked in we were told that it wouldn't be open until May. The outside pool was one of the main reasons I booked this hotel - my daughter was really looking forward to playing in the pool. I wish the description online had been revised to mention that the pool would be open only after memorial day. "

"The room keys don’t work well. I had to have 5 different room keys made and even the desk clerk could not get my door to open. He had to put me in a different room. Only 1 out of the 2 room keys for the second room worked, and I had to slide it in and out several times to get it to work. The breakfast was not very good. The hair dryer did not work. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only other thing this hotel has going for it is location. Very convenient to state fair grounds, PNC arena, NCSU football stadium, NCSU vet school."

"I booked here last minute and stayed a week for work.... The management, staff, and all employees were amazing !! They also have a social on Wednesday and have cstered food and beverages. It was a good was to relax after a long day at work. Lastly the hotel is just minutes from the mall, and there is also a nice shopping center located across the street with Starbucks and panera bread were in the same parking lot .Will definitely stay again. "This was one of the worst stays we’ve ever had at a hotel. Our floor reeked of marijuana the whole second night with noise in the hallway all night long. I called the front desk twice. Nothing was different after the first call and nobody answered the second call. I considered calling the police, but at this point I only had an hour and a half before having to get up for an early flight. I finally stuffed towels under the door in an attempt to keep the smell from my room. The room was in bad condition. The bathtub didn’t drain and the lampshade was broken. I will never stay again. "
