"Great boutique hotel in a good location, 8 minute walk to the train station. From the airport you can catch the train to Hakata station which is faster and less than a taxi. Rooms were clean and a good size. Walking distance to canal city shopping and restaurants. Only neg is the beds are ultra hard. "

"Nice hotel with riverside view. They also provide complimentary high tea to our room. Only thing I can comment about the room is too many doors which makes it a little weird and killing the space. "

"My stay at the Grand Hyatt Fukuoka was truly memorable. The staff were outstanding—friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. With many from international backgrounds, communication was easy even for guests who don’t speak fluent Japanese. Reception staff were especially warm and attentive, making every interaction smooth and pleasant.
The hotel’s location is excellent. Being directly connected to Canal City Shopping Mall makes shopping, dining, and entertainment effortless. Within a 10-minute walk, you can explore Kushida Shrine, one of Fukuoka’s most historic shrines, and the Hakata Machiya Folk Museum, a beautifully preserved traditional house showcasing local life and craftsmanship.
In short, Grand Hyatt Fukuoka offers world-class hospitality, convenience, and cultural charm. The staff’s kindness and professionalism made my stay unforgettable, and the location ensured everything I needed was close at hand. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Fukuoka.

"We reserved two 3-people rooms for 4 peoples. Each room has plenty space for 2 people. The toilet and shower have separate rooms. In addition, the bathtub and washer/dryer in the bathroom are add-on bonus."
