"We love El Alquimista! This is probably the most luxurious place to stay in Zipolite and you will not be disappointed. Attention to detail and exceptional service is one of the key points for our recurring stays here. They truly take care of you! Two of our favorite staff are Louis & Cheely. They take excellent care of you in the restaurant and on the beach! After just day one they knew what we drank and what we liked. They just made life so simple and enjoyable for us. Louis had our umbrella and table waiting every day. With him we truly never needed for ANYTHING! Food here is EXCELLENT! The grounds here are just beautiful and well maintained! The front desk guys also do a wonderful job and can schedule transportation for you to and from the airport. Nothing like getting off the plane in HUX and having a smiling face holding a card with your name on it! El Alquimista makes it difficult for you to want to leave the property. The quality of services and food are hard to beat in this small town. The ambience is also just over the top! We loved all the candles at night and the refined vibe! This is our forever place in Zipolite!"

"Villa Aikia Zipolite offers very nice suites, a sprawling facility with pool, outdoor terraces, stunning views, yoga area, private beach, full service restaurant/bar and extremely professional, friendly and attentive staff! This place runs like a well oiled machine, offers room service and daily housekeeping. Being located directly on the ocean, it’s understandable that some features such as the pool tiles need to be redone, as the salt in the air is hard on the tiles and surfaces in general, so yes the place may need a bit of a facelift here and there, but the hosts of the place more than make up for some needed TLC to the property. Hot water in Zipolite is not something to rely on in general, and the internet connection was hit or miss. We stayed in suite 2, and loved it. Thank you to everyone for a wonderful stay! We will be back! Pablo was the best! "

"This was a great place to call home. It felt very welcoming, staff was really nice, helpful and friendly. The pool and deck area are a gem. Breakfasts were hearty and different every day. Great towels for beach and pool. Only complaint was that they shocked the pool during daytime hours which closed it (should be done at night) and rooms could use some decor on walls."

"Casa Yati, what a find. A property with only 8 rooms, in the most amazing beach. Comfortable rooms, great cocktails and food. Slow life, highly recommendable. You can hear the waves while you sleep"
