Chugoku Adventure Holidays

The hotel is quite far from everything. There is a public bus that goes from downtown to the hotel, but it stops running quite early in the evening (8pm) and starts quite late in the morning. You might need to have dinner at the hotel but very pricey, or walk the remaining 20min from the tram station to the hotel. There is a speed boat to go to miyamija from the hotel, buts it’s a private company, with the price that goes with it. The hotel in itself is quite impressive in size. The rooms are a bit outdated, especially the bathroom. The view from the room is outstanding though. The various breakfast possibilities are great but the buffet is overwhelmingly packed with loud people and food is average. Note that the beach at the bottom of the hotel is closed and accessing the hotel pool is with a fee (3,500¥). No sign of laundry on the facility, didn’t ask though. If we knew all of that, we would have selected a hotel more central to Hiroshima.

Non-smoking room had a noticable smoking oder, but not enough to complain about. Very good location, excellent breakfast buffet, helpful and pleasant staff. Definitely will stay again.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was pleasant. The free ramen was a treat. My husband enjoyed the onsen. The free shuttle to the train station was much appreciated. Overall a nice place for familes.
