In a beautiful very relaxing expansive setting on the beach with lots of nature around the hotel complex. A short taxi into Ao Nang town if you want to get more buzz! A couple of really nice local restaurants a short walk along the beach if you want out of the hotel complex. Thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Breakfast and food overall is amazing. Beach is also amazing. Private pool villas also amazing. Finally the fact we can use the Varana hotel facilities a five minute drive away with a 50m pool and state of the art gym, Muay Thai facility and yoga, among other activities made this trip tip top.

It is a nice hotel in a good location (outside of the main Krabi area, but still plenty of good options for F&B outside of the restaurant).
The property was not up to the usual good Sofitel standard or service, but still overall a good stay. 2 nights was a enough time.

Close to everything ( beach , grocery stores , restaurants. ). Very friendly front desk staff. You can hear music till 2 am every night. This was not an issue for me.
Strong water pressure and water heater. Sink is in the room , not in the bathroom.
Gym was small but functional. Did not use the pool.
