The Rooms were great. The buffet was not 5 star with little bespoke cooking as per other resorts ive been to in Maldives. Male staff mostly seem disinterested and slow. Females are great. Smoke, staff and food was great. Entertainment bsnds were average to poor . Philippino duo however were excellent. Management never seem to interact with guests. Seemed aloof . Lovely location but not really 5 star.

Overall it was a great experience. The service was exceptional. The facilities were great and we never hard a hard time finding a seat by the pool or the beach. The reason I have given 4 instead of 5 stars is that the resort allows smoking in too many places. You can be sitting there enjoying your time in your pool or beach lounger, when the person sitting a few chairs down lights up a cigarette and the smoke just wafts over for the whole time. There should be non-smoking areas so that non-smoking guests do not have to breathe that in while trying to enjoy the beach.

Everything is superb from the speedboat at the airport, the hotel, the service and even the checkout.

We returned to Ihuru 40 years after our honeymoon. It was basic but great then .... Now it is fantastic and great!

Lovely, bright hotel in a gorgeous location! Stunning views all around. Mainly for a romantic get away. String WiFi but not exactly business friendly. The food is really good! But not worth half-board or full-board prices. No alcohol on this island (Huraa) but there's a day pass to a resort that does. Water activities can be organized, no problem. Best part was the staff for sure! Absolutely warm, attentive and competent. I was treated with respect; like a welcomed guest! There are 2 extra cafes near by if you're looking for a little someone different to eat. And there's an ATM at the pier. The hotel manager will get you set up with a ferry to and from. It's a little disorienting fitting out where to go and when after leaving the airport but it all worked out. There were some leaks and there are several signs of water damage but it's but really a problem. Shower is clean, strong and warm. Windows don't close and there's no bug zappers. Overall, it was really great experience for me.

Kurumba was everything I imagined and so much more. The staff were incredibly courteous, the room was spotless, and the open bathroom was hands down my favorite part of the bungalow we stayed in. Huge shout-out to the water sports team, and to all the wonderful people we met along the way. Truly an unforgettable experience.

Stayed here because I flew in late and wasn’t going to my destination until the following day. The property was in a nice location and the staff was very friendly.
