Very nice and beautiful hotel conveniently located to everything

Very well ubicated, clean, practical, good American breakfast, the bar is very convenient.

This is an amazing hotel. Absolutely beautiful, great bar, fantastic location (right on the canal, just around the corner from Ann Frank’s house). The staff was extremely helpful on a number of occasions and the bar staff is wonderful. The room was gorgeous - we upgraded to a room with a big tub, and it was worth it. Regarding accessibility: the hotel has an elevator, but you have to climb a short flight of stairs to get in the hotel, another short flight to get to the elevator, and then another short flight once you get out of the elevator. I think there were 20 stairs to get to our room, even with the use of the lift. This was disappointing because my wife has an injured knee, but we managed. If a guest were wheel chair-bound, this would not be an accessible hotel. It’s a beautiful, historic building from the 1600s, so they get a pass, but if you can’t do stairs, be advised.

Loved this hotel and location - super easy to get the tram everywhere. We had a room wi the bunk bed for my son and it was a great layout. Would 100% stay here again!

The overall experience was very good but the cost was higher than what would have been appropriate.

Really sweet and helpful staff, but this is an old building so no elevators and if you're on anything higher than the second floor you will be humping your bag up very narrow, steep and curved stairs. The room was cozy, what you would expect from an older European hotel. I would stay there again because it's very central to a lot of the historic area, which was convenient.

Very central location in Amsterdam and was able to walk to most attractions including the central station. Rooms were clean, but basic which was fine. Staff was friendly and helpful. We did not get the breakfast there but walked to close by places. Would recommend.
