Had a short but nice stay. Staff were friendly and approachable. Breakfast was ok with a good selection. Rooms were very clean and coffee/tea items were topped up daily. Beds were comfortable and large.

Lovely older hotel in Rembrandtplein district. Very convenient to lots of Amsterdam highlights and a tram stop. The hotel was quiet and the staff was lovely. The breakfast is pricey, but nice to have available when you don't yet know the city.

We had such a wonderful stay that we even decided to extend it. The hotel is peaceful, very comfortable, and the atmosphere is so friendly it felt like home. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent! Everything was delicious, especially the tomato tartare. Breakfast was also over the top, absolutely yummy! When we were looking to book, we noticed the hotel was a bit outside the city, but once we got there we realized it was an easy 10-15 min uber ride into the busy city center. Honestly, that was a big part of the charm. The peace and quiet, plus the amazing water view, made it totally worth it. It’s the kind of place where you just slow down, relax, and really enjoy. We’ll definitely be back!

Everything is quite simply ideal for the leisure traveler. You couldn’t ask for a better location, in the heart of one of the best neighborhoods without feeling crowded or touristy. The staff is extremely welcoming and helpful, and the amenities are excellent. If you plan to do a canal tour, definitely plan to do this through the hotel’s boat, The Tourist, which boasts a historical link to Winston Churchill. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experiences as well.
