Fantastic 5 Star Hotel with friendly welcoming forthcoming staff. One feels right at home.

I had a magnificent time at Safir Hotel, as I have on previous occasions. The only issue was that my room (507) was next to the main road and was a bit noisy. In my previous stays, my rooms have faced the swimming pool, which I found more comfortable. Unfortunately, I did not ask for my room to be changed, though I am confident it could have been arranged if I had requested it.

we had a serious technical issue with the water. The water was cut off in the middle of the night, leaving us without water to use the bathroom or take a shower without any prior notice. When we asked for a refund for the missing service, we were offered only a 10% future voucher, which is not very helpful and does not reflect the amount we paid for a stay that should have included basic services like running water. I was expecting a partial refund for the missing vital services that left with an embarrassing situation where we had to use small bottle of water to use the WC after a long and tiring touristic day The staff were incredible (thanks for going beyond), and the location is arguably one of the best in Cairo if you are visiting Historic Cairo, the museum, and the pyramids (but no views etc, just a nice clean place). It is located in the heart of Zamalek, which made getting around very convenient.

We stayed at Veda Hotel for 5 days during our current world trip, and after staying in many hotels around the world, this hotel honestly stands out as one of the best in terms of value for money. It may not be a super luxurious 5-star hotel, but considering the price we paid, we truly felt like we received service and treatment far beyond that value. The staff were always kind and welcoming, the breakfast was very good, and the location was excellent for exploring the city. If you are a traveler who cares about good value and reasonable prices, I highly recommend this hotel. There is also a small convenience store on the first floor of the hotel, which was very convenient for buying water and small daily necessities. The prices were honest and fair with no tourist overcharging, and the people there were very kind as well. A special thank you to Mohsen at the reception. He treated us like family from the moment we arrived and always tried his best to help us with anything we needed. Thanks to his kindness and hospitality, we were able to enjoy our trip even more and leave with wonderful memories. Thank you again for making our stay in Cairo so comfortable and memorable.
