The Gate Hotel is a nice property directly connected to Tenjin station. It's well-located for both day and evening entertainment. The room was clean and modern. There was a lack of towels to shower more than once without a change. Staff was pleasant, if a bit cold. Views from the room made for decent city photography.

Stayed at Hotel New Otani Hakata and overall had a pleasant experience. The service was excellent—staff were polite, attentive, and always willing to help, which really made the stay comfortable.
The hotel itself, however, feels a bit dated. The rooms and facilities are well-maintained but could benefit from some modernization.
That said, the great service and convenient location still make it a solid choice for a stay in Fukuoka.
