Lagundo Channel Trail Golf Holidays

About an 15 minute uber ride from center city Milan, this gem of a hotel was clean, spacious and had all kinds of amenitites. We slept three in our room and still had plenty of space. Kind staff, even despite the language barrier and very helpful in getting up a shuttle to the airport in the morning. A pleasant surprise because it exceeded our expectations while traveling.

Free water/ soda; amazing breakfast, close to train. Very good lodging.

Excellent location of the property

Extremely quirky hotel but very clean room and helpful staff. The restaurant on the 6th floor had a wonderful menu for dinner and the food was great quality. Breakfast was good but missed a bit the cooked food section. Overall I would recommend it if staying near Linate Airport.

I got BED BUGS. And the property REFUSED to reimburse me. Bed bugs. I had to book another hotel. I had to throw away my clothes Unbelievable

Excellent location of the property

The positives: - the staff at check-in was great. they helped us arrange transportation for that night and gave recommendations for the area we were going to. - the rooftop restaurant had a beautiful view of the lake - the included amenities were amazing And, the negatives: - we originally booked a king room but was assigned 2 queen. normally fine but we had told reservations in advance that we were traveling with a small child and needed a king. Instead we all had to squeeze into the queen to be sure he wouldn’t fall - the fire alarm went off multiple times during our stay including once at 7am and 3 times in one day, creating a stressful experience especially with a small child - the location. it’s right on the lake and closely between tremezzo and menaggio. on paper, this would be great but the hotel is along busy roads, Ubers are non-existent, taxis very limited. - the concierge is unreliable unless you’re right in front of them. every time we booked transportation over the phone, we were never confident that a ride was really secured. one night we got stuck in a downpour, waiting anxiously for our car and was trying to find a taxi, when the hotel car came unexpectedly. before checkout, we booked a car to the train with guest experience. it wasn’t booked and we had to spend 290euro last minute to just barely make the train. if you are staying on property all the time, it’s a nice hotel with great amenities. otherwise, it doesn’t live up to a luxury experience

Though we only stayed one night at Excelsior, it left such a wonderful impression that we wished we had planned a longer stay. Our room on the 4th floor featured stunning floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the magnificent Milano Centrale — such a memorable view to wake up to. What impressed us most, however, was how unbelievably quiet the room was. Despite being directly across from the train station, we heard absolutely no outside noise whatsoever — no traffic, sirens, or the usual city sounds one might expect. The sound insulation (or windows!) is truly remarkable and made for one of the quietest hotel nights we’ve had. The service throughout our stay was exceptional — warm, polished, and attentive in a way that made us feel genuinely well taken care of. Our only regret is that we didn’t have more time to enjoy the spa, which looked beautiful and gave us every reason to want to return. A fantastic stay and one we would happily repeat on a future visit to Milan.
