Me, my husband, parents, and brother had an unexpected issue happen with Air Canada so we booked Doubletree super fast to stay over one night. From start to finish, Deirdre was exceptionally welcoming, helpful, and very kind! Although the rooms were outdated, we had fresh linens, towels, toiletries, and AC which is always great! We also were able to take advantage of their 24/7 airport shuttle service for free! In a pinch, this place really helped out and ask for Deirdre!

We didn’t eat any meals at the hotel. The hotel is only five years old so very modern furnishing. I was a bit shocked at $75/night valet parking. The cost for the room was good considering a downtown hotel during summer. Make sure you visit the sanctuary connected to the hotel it was the beautiful First United Methodist Church for many years. Still beautiful with the large pipe organ and domed ceiling. Special to me because our family sometimes attended church there when I was a child.

Hotel was clean, staff were great. The patios and private balconies were not very clean, dirty and full of bird poop.

Stay here if you like an old dirty hotel.

We were at the Fairmont over the weekend, and only one out of 5 elevators was working. The hotel seemed to be at full capacity and there was no staff members around to assist and direct you to the stairs. The phone lines were down throughout the stay. During room cleaning, our beds were done but water was not topped up in the jars. For the price of this hotel, the service should’ve been better. The women’s room shower downstairs has no running water and the front desk did not seem overly concerned about. This seems like a lot of issues for a hotel at this price point.
