Great location and comfortable room near the Asashibashi and Prefectural Office monorail stations. Easy walking to Kokusaidori and to many izakayas. One tour operator picked us up in front of the hotel and another near the rail station.

Very spacious room, helpful staff (we met Michael and the French chef at the breakfast restaurant, they are really helpful and cheerful), wonderful view Except one of the staff at the reception assumed asian (myself) should speak Mandarin, cos he only knows Japanese and Mandarin, but very little English. My husband is from England and the staff insisted to speak to me in Mandarin. I guess as a paid customer we will have to do what's convenient for the staff not the other way round right? I hold a hk passport doesn't mean I HAVE to speak Mandarin or know this language. Never Assume, we speak Cantonese in HK.

This place was beautiful. The property is stunning with flowers everywhere and the beach is spectacular. It is also within walking distance to the gala down the road for more restuarant options. Absolutely would come back here again. This place is just amazing.

nice location to the Tokyo Dome

Beautiful hotel with views of the Castle and the area with the river and a beautiful park. All the people who work at the hotel are simply beautiful and courteous, and the restaurants have a variety of delicious Japanese food. I recommend this hotel 100% per cent

The staff here is extremely polite. The service was outstanding. Anything you wanted the staff will help you arrange. Also, the hotel was extremely clean, quiet, and relaxing. The included spa added to the experience as well. If I come back to Kyoto, I will definitely consider coming back here again.

Overall, the location & the room were great. Somehow my room's bathroom & toilet were not get cleaned daily for the first 4-5 days. I asked the housekeeping team to action. After that, they started to clean properly. Apology letter was nice touch. Other guests from Asian countries were quite loud & noisy in the hallway in some morning. I made a complain via phone. The situation was quickly solved. Thank you for the hotel staff's quick action. I will stay at the hotel again.
