Clean and comfortable but not many staff to assist

The hotel staff was attentive and helpful.

The room is spacious and clean. The only problem is the bathroom. Its old and needs a TLC. The shower makes the floor flooded and the granite needs repair or replaced entirely.

Room was decent size and clean. The hotel is right near the trains station so convenient to transportation. There's also a street with a ton of restaurants two blocks away. Very easy to walk to. Go up to the workout center at the top of the hotel, even if you don't work out, for a great view of the city skyline. And here's the best part, Try the dinner buffet at least once. It's THE BEST of any hotel buffet that we have eaten at and we travel a lot. For the inexpensive price you get really amazing gourmet food! And for those who drink, unlimited beer on tap! :) There were people who didn't stay at the hotel come to eat the dinner buffet. That tells you a lot!

2 stars hotel : old daicilities - needs remodeling/upgrades to charge rates >$150. - power outlets loose. Can’t charge phones… huge issues for foreign tourists. - safe has no power , so it’s useless. Reported to front desk and no services rendered.

Very spacious room with some designer touches. The staff was able to provide everything we needed upon request (such as a US plug adaptor). There are several eateries on the premises and room service, but we not try any of these. Only downside is I expected a smart TV with how modern it is. It’s not very tourist friendly without a provided way to stream, either via casting from mobile or direct on TV.

Good location , great shopping and dinning choices

The staff are excellent. They were so quick to help us with our bags and were so polite. Hotel room was spacious and everything looked modern. The reason for 3 stars: 1. Our bathroom drain smelled so there was an unpleasant sewer like odor the whole time. I called to get it cleaned but never heard back and it may be something the staff could not address. 2. Soundproofing is not good. You can hear door slams and kids in corridors. Our neighbor happened to be very loud and to the hotel’s credit, the hotel staff got them to quieten down. But it was not a pleasant experience. 3. Though the hotel is new, some areas were obviously not built to quality. The drain smell is one and the other is loose fixtures. It’s never nice to wake up to your phone not fully charged because the outlet was loose. It didn’t really feel truly 5 Star so if you book, you may have to temper your expectations.

Well located, close to subway and bus and busy area, friendly staff, we had heated floors in the room which was very nice!

I enjoyed my stay at Hip Hotel, the location was convenient and the staff was very helpful.

Room is a tad stuffy but it’s up to whether your other roommates want ventilation. Other than that it’s alright
