Good points first. Shuttle bus both ways on time. Staff at check in efficient and polite. Hotel is at least 50 years old and the internal features clearly indicate this. Breakfast buffet reasonable. No evening restaurant. It only has a small convenience store or a trip to town . Ok for an overnight stay before a flight. But the price was very reasonable for Japan so it’s your decision

A great hotel in Tokyo close to metro, rail lines, and major attractions. The property is beautiful with its own garden. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast in the tower offers stunning views of the city and a great buffet!

The Shinagawa Prince is our usual choice when in Tokyo, given its location (convenient transportation from both Narita and Haneda airports, easy access to other cities by shinkansen or other stops in Tokyo), mid-range cost, and quality of the stay. We always enjoy a nice clean room and support from very helpful and friendly staff. I also like that everything you need, in a pinch, is available on-site or nearby - the Annex building, where we stayed, has a 7-Eleven, shops, entertainment venues, and food court. It is connected to the Main Tower, where we enjoyed the breakfast buffet at Luxe Dining Hapuna our first morning. There is a Kuroneko Yamato shipping service in the main tower if you want to forward luggage to your next destination, as well as a coin-operated laundry facility, useful for longer stays. Of course, these things are widely available throughout Tokyo, but at the end of a long day, returning to the hotel in Shinagawa is always a great relief.

Great room size. Bay side room w/ literally a post card view of the Tokyo Sky Tree, Rainbow Bridge & all from your bed. Definitely will return.
