Central Tokyo Kid friendly Holidays

Location is great and overall staff is amazing, typical of any Mitsui Garden, however the first agent wanted to charge me 2000¥ to check-in 56 minutes prior to the standard 3pm, so that kinda started the experience with a negative vibe, fast forward 3pm checked in a room that had a very strong smell of cigarette, and this is where their customer service shined, within 10 minutes room was changed and all our luggage’s moved in by a really nice agent. Hotel is nice from the outside and is located in a lovely area but the rooms are OLD, the bathroom/tub area was good but OLD; and I mean yellow-turning plastic. Also, the hotel uses central air so pray no one smokes in the rooms next to you! The most negative aspect of the hotel was the onsen, and this is where the hotel could invest and renovate that specific area because it feels dingy and outdated, bringing almost an unsanitary vibe. I think if the check-in process and the initial room assignment were skipped I would have given this hotel 4 stars out of 5 because the onsen was the a major reason as to why I’ve booked this hotel specifically.

We loved this Place.

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left we felt amazing. The grounds are well maintained and the garden with the waterfall was just breathtaking. Having breakfast every morning looking at that took all my worries away. Everything was fabulous. Thank you to all for taking such good care of myself and my son.

Breakfast at the viking village was amazing you must go. Rooms are small but the place is maintained very well for how old the building is. The staff is so sweet and helped us with our luggage. We checked in really late and didn't get to use room service since last order is 11:30pm

We booked the connecting corner suite for 5 people with a king and 3 twins. Great for our family. Helpful staff provided a great map of local food options and help book reservations. Our rooms had fantastic views too.
