Tempate District Kid friendly Holidays

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Papagayo Golden Palms and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Costa Rica. The property was extremely clean and very well maintained, and the entire staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. Everyone was fantastic — from housekeeping to the restaurant staff and chef — and you could truly feel how much they cared about the guests’ experience. The service was warm, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay. The grounds are beautiful, lush, and tropical, creating such a peaceful atmosphere. The pool area is amazing, and the beach is just steps away and perfect for relaxing and enjoying the scenery. One thing that really helped us was renting a car. It made exploring the surrounding areas, beaches, restaurants, and local attractions much easier and allowed us to see more of this beautiful part of Costa Rica. We would absolutely stay here again. Great location! But apart from the location, the experience of the hotel doesn’t match the premium price it charges. We don’t recommend it and won’t go back.

We have been to RIU before in Mexico & was a much different experience. The Costa Rica resort needed a reno but we knew that going so that didn't bother us, we still had a great time. The food was very good in all restaurants we went to. The buffet was incredible every time. To get into restaurants was a total disappointment. They don't take reservations but you can be put on a list (reservation) total crap & we weren't the other customers totally frustrated about the dining experience. Our room was ok but we were in a group of 6 & some had to change rooms because the air didn't work. Some rooms didn't have hot water in the sink or shower but in the bath tub??? Wierd !!! In all my years of staying at hotels, resorts I have never had anything in my room go missing until Riu Place Costa Rica. Our last full day when we came back to our room our personal items on the sink area had all been moved. I noticed right away one of my face products boxes was missing, weird right?? Then we were travelling back to the airport I realized that one of our supplements was missing that my husband & I had been taking every morning. We both did not take it because it wasn't in the spot it had been for the 6 days before & I never packed it to go home!! The entertainment was very good. Max & Alex were very friendly. The photographer Joshua was very good Overall we had a great vacation but we would never recommend Riu Palace Costa Rica to anyone & we would not go back ourselves.

It was an incredible experience - the hotel, the staff, and of course the paradise location. Special thanks to Luis, for his constant desire to help and serve pushed the experience over the top!

Very family friend, there is only one restaurant but the food is really good. Pool area very nice, and kids friendly. Staff very friendly. Room very clean.

we initially didn’t like our room as it was near the elevator however Carlos and Gustav changed it for us and we loved it! so so so beautiful room and very quiet and amazing location!!

Amazing resort! Staff was super attentive, friendly and really went out of their way to make a memorable trip! The restaurants were all exceptional too.
