I’ve never been to a hotel with so many eager staff. Check-in was fast; an English speaking bellhop met us where the airport bus dropped us off; she guided us to the lobby; another was quickly assigned to take us and our bags to our rooms. Check out was similarly easy; a bellhop took us the 200 yards within the hotel complex to the spot to catch the airport bus back to Narita. During our stay, these bellhops were ready to answer any questions we had— directions to the metro or a restaurant, cultural questions, anything we needed. We found that the bellhops often spoke better English than the people behind the desk, except the concierge, whose English with flawless. I’ve never been to such a quiet hotel! Such good sleep! Never heard a peep from the hallways, never heard my neighbors coughing or their water running. The air conditioning/heat was also silent. (I am often awakened at American hotels—even 5 star ones—by the heat & a/c cycling on.) Of course, the rooms are spotless. When we booked, we neglected to get the breakfast voucher; our breakfasts each cost ~$35, so next time I’ll do the math and probably get the voucher. We ate at several restaurants in the hotel complex. We enjoyed meals at Aux Bacchanales, Kato’s, and especially the shabu-shabu (a meal braised at your table with melt-in-your-mouth beef) at Okahan. Dinner at Trader Vic’s was very disappointing. Next time we’ll try some others. The garden is a lovely highlight of the hotel complex!

Loved the whole experience here! The gardens were beautiful. The spa was fabulous and loved the proximity too- close to Tokyo Dome.

Fantastic location if looking for a quiet place away from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo yet still very accessible. The amenities are fantastic and the layout of the building, with the restaurant facing the courtyard with trees and water feature, is simply wonderful. The breakfast is excellent, such a huge variety of choices, all thoughtfully and tastefully cooked. Diners have with a choice between Japanese and Western cuisine. I would certainly stay here again the next time I visit Tokyo.

We had an incredible experience staying here. Located in Chiyoda area, it's a quick subway to many tourist locations, with a station in the basement of hotel. Chiyoda is located near government buildings, so the area is clean and felt very safe. Staff is extremely accommodating and helpful. Everyday, our room was thoroughly cleaned. We decided to have breakfast pre-ordered during our stay, which we recommend because the options (continental, Japanese breakfast, American breakfast, and a la carte) at Origami restaurant in the hotel are delicious and a great way to start the day before adventures around Tokyo. We had a couple days when we worked out at the gym, which provides essential workout needs. Our room itself was amazing: the premier corner king. With nearly panoramic view of the city, we were in awe of our 25th window perspective. The bed was extra large, which made our sleep more comfortable. We opted to keep our sheets the entire stay to help with Capitol Hotel’s sustainability goals. The bathroom includes a double vanity, with a stunning bathtub + shower with views of the city. Countless amenities, ideal location, and exceptional staff make The Capitol Hotel Tokyu a perfect place to stay!

Room and staff were terrific, location and view was perfect. We had access to four restaurants for breakfast… had any of them been good I would have given a Five Star rating. The breakfast was simply not too the standard of other five star hotels we’ve been all over the world. Hotel was wonderful.
