I stayed at this hotel for two nights, and found it very good, especially very good breakfast and rather modest but still usefully stocked gym. The hotel is located at the very southern edge of Seoul, slightly remote place but easy access to the hearth of Gangnam via a metro (within 10-min ride). The access from the ICN airport may need multiple transits and take long time. The room is clean but you can hear some audible noise from adjacent rooms -- which I found only one downside of this hotel. I will come back to this hotel again.

The staff was wonderful there was someone to come by every day to clean the room. Also, it was very easy to access all shopping centers plus local dining.

Best place to come as a family. There is a full kitchen with a large living room and a desk if you need to work. Amazing view and location. There are 3-4 coffee shops in the same building, convenience store, spa and golf practice area and many more in the same building. Lotte shopping mall is also right next to the hotel and so many good food places around. I will definitely come again next year.

Great stay. I wish there was a coffee machine in room. Everything else was extraordinary. Great team that goes beyond to support us.

I would love to share my appreciation for Joy at Shilla Stay Guro. I arrived in Korea very early in the morning after being away for almost 10 years. So much time had passed that I barely remembered my way around, and I honestly didn’t know where to go at that hour. I wasn’t expecting to check in early. I was just hoping the hotel could store my luggage until check-in time. However, I was also feeling really unwell and desperately needed some rest. That’s when Joy at the concierge desk helped me. She kindly explained everything and arranged an early check-in so I could get some rest. What touched me the most was that she noticed I wasn’t feeling well and, without me even asking, thoughtfully assigned me a room on the quieter side of the hotel. It may have seemed like a small gesture, but it meant so much to me, especially after such a long journey and being back in Korea for the first time in 10 years. I truly appreciated not only her help but also her genuine thoughtfulness. Joy made my first morning back in Korea much more comfortable than I could have hoped for. Thank you so much, Joy, for your kindness and warm hospitality. I won’t forget it!

Clean room, excellent water pressure, friendly and helpful staff who answered my questions via app, location is near Myeongdong. However we returned to one particular Korean BBQ restaurant a few minutes walk from the hotel. Laundry in the basement gave clear instructions on how to operate macines and how to pay.
