Kinki Region Pet-friendly Holidays

This ryokan was recommended by a Japanese coworker and our stay at Hotel Hanakoyado was exquisite. We were only able to stay one night, because it was booked up when we had planned to go earlier in our trip. We ended up staying here the night before our flight home and it was just the decompression we needed for our long flight the next day. The staff was so helpful and friendly, and you could really tell they took a lot of pride in their work. The meals were delicious. We especially loved dinner, and the Charcoal Grilled Kobe Beef really just melts in your mouth. We booked the room with the private onsen because that was the only room available and I was determined to stay here (since it was so highly recommended) and it was absolutely worth it and very relaxing. They also handle booking and transportation to a massage parlor nearby. We did an aromatherapy full-body massage and slept like babies that night.
