Front desk staff were friendly, but I did have to wait all day for a toilet plunger (luckily I was out at a meeting). TV remote was sticky and clearly not properly cleaned. I took it to one of the cleaners who was in the hall and I asked if she could clean it. She wiped it with a dry towel. I was hoping for some cleaning products to be used on it. :(
Room size was great. Not a fan of a shower in a claw tub with plastic curtains around me.
Not that I ever felt like I was in danger, but it was disturbing to see so many homeless people clearly in an altered state.

Love this place! Brought the whole family & adult kids, reserved 3 rooms, 2 nights & we had a blast!! Biked across Golden Gate Bridge & Played endlessly in the Zephyr Hotel COURTYARD!! Staff was VERY helpful & Knowledgeable!! TU 4 an awesome Thanksgiving!!

The room was spotless the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The price was way better than I could have ever expected and it's in walking distance to shopping and SFMOMA!! Also less than a block away from secured overnight parking!! Can't wait to go back!!
