8.4/10 Very Good! (1,000 reviews)
Excellent view, Beautiful black sand beach had quite a bit of trash on it, Food was ok, pool definitely needs repair but was functional, Faucet in bathroom was completely loose from the sink the flush button on the toilet was broken
Lots of chickens crowing very early in the am There was a used condom in the couch. Staff was friendly
Over all I would not recommend staying here until upgrades are made. The property appears underfunded for repairs and maintenance

9/10 Wonderful! (1,004 reviews)
Smaller resort, which was actually nice b/c it is more relaxing. Gorgeous pool area. We stayed in an over-water bungalow, which was spacious and lovely. The only complaint I would say is it would have been nice to have a chair. Like just a regular chair to sit in. There wasn't one in the room or on the deck (only lounge chairs). Got a free bottle of sparkling wine delivered to our room, which was a nice surprise.
Food was outrageously expensive, which I expected, but what I did not expect is that every meal we had there was terrible. I mean borderline inedible bad. It was either unappetizing or completely flavorless. Breakfast was $50 for the buffet and it was limited and not good. I was going to try the pizza until I saw someone put their room service tray outside their bungalow with only one piece gone from 2 whole pizzas! So, it must have been bad. Drinks were fine.
We ended up eating at the restaurant across the street from the resort one night and it was fantastic. Highly recommend that (Manuia Grill). "Town" is about a 5 min walk and there are some nice shops there and some additional restaurants. There is a breakfast/lunch place that I would definitely recommend over spending $50pp at the resort.
Having some shops and restaurants walking distance was a nice bonus as some resorts you are basically captive b/c there is no place to go without a car/taxi.
I would definitely stay here again, I just wouldn't eat at the resort.

The property and staff are as expected. We enjoyed our time here.
My only dissapointment is that when the airline delivered our lost luggage to the hotel they failed to notify us it was in their storage. There it stayed untill we tracked it down just before our departure.

8.8/10 Excellent! (1,006 reviews)
This is a beautiful resort, but a large one, so it can be a hike to some things, depending on where your room is. There are 2 pools so one or the other will be most convenient depending on room location. Four different restaurants, so it's a nice variety, which is good considering you are captive here as there are no restaurants (or anything) in walking distance.
The pool areas were absolutely gorgeous! I loved that there is also a saltwater lagoon that you can snorkel in since there isn't really a "beach" accessible from the resort. They also have a sea turtle rehab sanctuary, which I loved!
We stayed in a Moorea view room with a balcony and the view was gorgeous and the room was spacious. The only thing besides the bed was one very uncomfortable chair and a desk chair. It would be nice if there was a little sitting area (it had room). There was a small fridge.
Food was very expensive (expected) and very good. We ate at Huriama Garden one evening for tapas. The plates are TINY, like a few bites but still ~$20-30 each, so very expensive to feed 2 people more than a little snack. I wouldn't do that again. We ate one night at the Tiki Bar and had a delicious pizza that was perfect for 2 people for basically the price of one tiny tapas dish at the other place. La Tiara was excellent for breakfast and dinner.
Excellent staff and you can stay at the resort day of checkout and they have shower rooms to get cleaned up before your flight. Would recommend this place!
