Great location and spacious rooms.

I want to start by saying it wasn’t the entire staff. The staff during the day were very helpful and attentive. I was placed in a room where the AC wasn’t working. When i got in at 11pm i called the front desk and I was told someone would come up to fix the issue. I waited an hour and called back and got no answer the rest of the night. I was forced to sleep in the heat with my fiancee. The morning staff sent an engineer up and he couldn’t fix the issue . We were moved to a new room. All I received was an apology. i emailed the hotel personally about the issue with no response. I believe this is unacceptable. I paid for nights and received 1 comfortable night. I want to be reimbursed or deducted for 1 night.

Our original flight got canceled so it was up in the air on when we would arrive (late night or next day). Fortunately, we were able to get to New York even earlier than originally scheduled which was well before check-in. Jasmine at the front desk was such a gem, she granted us early check-in with no extra cost. That type of customer service is very much appreciated.

The hotel is perfectly locted but the pool hours and rules are too restrictive for a 5*. it is not normal for hotel gustes to have to pay/reserve for the pm which is the most enjoyable time by the pool. This has to change

Quiet, spacious beautiful rooms and they offer a 67 credit for the restaurant and bar, which is a nice addition

The check-in process we efficient and the staff were polite. The room was a decent size, especially for New York City. The location was convenient to midtown and the 6 line and Grand Central
