Please take care booking here. I had a suite and it was lovely. However when it rained ( albeit very heavy rain) leaks came in through the window and floor in two of the rooms. Not sure how safe it is. Not small water ingress, puddles of water. Staff moved me to a smaller single room which also leaked. Worrying as a lot of electrical stuff in areas of water influx! I have asked for a partial refund for the difference in room standard as I did not stay in the suite. Staff blame the rain. This is a major city, not rural China. I would book with a well know international brand

Absolutely loved this stay. Just a 10-minute walk to the Bund, with charming old houses along the way. The room was spotless, the bed super comfortable, and I slept like a baby. Great water pressure in the shower. The laundry room on the 4th floor was a huge plus—wash and dry in one go. Nice gym for a quick morning workout, and the rooftop terrace has an amazing view of Lujiazui at night. Front desk staff were friendly, efficient, and even recommended some great local Shanghainese restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

Check in was terrible. They need a crash course on customer service! After a request for early check in after a 14hr flight we were kept waiting in reception for 5hrs! We got given a bowl of fruit as a ‘bribe’ to change this review! Reception was very immature and inexperienced. I had to phone my bank and they sent me to the Marriott next door! They were not very fluent in English. They also had a robot which no one knew how to use to bring up our deliveries! Rooms were very dated and old fashioned. No lighting near bath, very dingy. No soundproofing in rooms, We got some packages delivered which were kept unsafe in the laundry room basically a free for all as just all thrown for anyone to take. Not impressed. This hotel would do better if they looked at other hotels as an example of customer service or even having a multi lingual concierge. Definitely needs updating to modern fittings and standards Cleaners were great and the washing machine in our room was helpful as we were there for a long time. Only great thing was the location. Could not fault the location as you could get cheap DiDis everywhere. Had a Family Mart within walking distance which was also very useful. There are lots of hotels nearby which are in a similar price bracket. Unless they learnt from feedback I would not be coming back here in a hurry.

Great location, friendly staff at the check in desk. The room was nice, very clean, great shower and lovely thick fluffy towels. Bottled water, and really nice moisturizer in the room.

If you’re booking this place for an amazing room with an amazing view and a bath tub by the window you will not be disappointed. If you are booking this for the pool area, don’t get your hopes up, it feels more like a public bath house than a luxury hotel pool, similar feel with the spa. The overall hotel and rooms are nice, I just felt like they needed a deep clean and a bit of TLC, grouting etc. light switches and AC seemed to have a mind of their own and didn’t always respond to pressing the light switches. I loved staying here, but that’s my constructive criticism. It misses a few of those tick boxes that take it upto being a world class hotel. More of an Instagram hotel that looks great for the pictures

Rooms were very clean and quiet. Staffs were very helpful in general, and vehicle used for transfer to Disney land was classy. Hot spring was awesome and relaxing. Restaurant food were great quality. Overall highly recommended.
