Camp John Hay Ski Holidays

Stayed on the 3rd floor and unless you hold the button down it will skip the floor this happened every time until we held it down. No covered parking as indicated only one disabled parking space at the hotel entrance but the guard that stands there 24 7 allows anyone to park there. There was a van with a driver for a sports team parked there once and two other times two young couples parked there mentioned this every time we left and returned. It’s not there wasn’t plenty of parking for the guest just that the hotels guard and front desk staff don’t enforce parking. Don’t pay for the breakfast there you’ll pay less, get better food and get more at the McDonald’s. Instant coffee and instant powder juice is what you get. Everything has a garlic taste butter and jelly for toast even the halls. The reusable container the water holds taste of chlorine I’m guessing tap water. I select this hole because it had good reviews but it was disgusting with probably fake reviews.

Other staff dont like their job i think Not friendly staff . Washroom is teriblle Outdated . Soaking wet floor when we check in . Asking 3x for maintenance but no one is attending. Toilet is clog. Never check in again on this hotel Food is terible .

They just need to upgrade the carpet. But everything is great

If you are planning to leave your baggages and head for side trips make sure you ask the baggage storage dept cause they charge you a LOT, unlike other hotels they offer free baggage storage. Also the room has small table for dining if you plan for room service. The free breakfast was great, there were lots of choices. The front office people can learn more on the hotels offerings since they are not aware when you ask them questions. Train them well on current informations. Also they have no towelettes in the bathroom.

If you’re looking for easy access to the international airport this is a great option for that. There’s a lot of stores and restaurants in the areas, within walkable distance.
