"The hotel location is quite close to West Lake (Xihu), near hotel quite a lot of local restaurant, the hotel is quite close to xinhua book store, from Hangzhou East Station quite close with taxi. The hotel staffs are nice but they only speaks mandarin."

"I booked a suite with “2 double” for 1 night. Then I was told all suites they have only have 1 king bed. I had to degrade to “superior twin bed” room without any refund of the price differences. If you don’t have 2 double in your suite then you shouldn’t market so, that’s fraud. "

"Hotel was extremely homely and welcoming, just as the staff and owner were. We wanted to stay somewhere outside of town to get an experience closer to “locals”, and this hotel did not disappoint. Everything was clean, and I got a better night’s sleep here than our last stop in a big hotel. It’s so cosy, and the breakfast also deserves a mention; very healthy and tasty. "We booked this hotel as it was advertised to be in Shanghai. The map showed it to be in a nice location. Only when we were on our way from the airport we found out it was in Hangzhou. So we were stuck in a taxi in Shanghai at 00:30 am with two sleeping children and nowhere to go. So far, expedia has offered us NO compensation of any kind."

"It was just a one night stay but I have to say this hotel is excellent value and in a good location. Check in was very quick and easy and the staff were courteous and efficient. The room itself was of a good size and very clean & tidy. Well done to all the staff."
