"The hotel is excellently located for the central station. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. We had a small issue with our room on check in and this was resolved easily by the pleasant and attentive manager. Room was basic but spacious. Only real criticism would be the size of the bathroom which is very narrow with little room to move and lack of a bedside table (there's a shelf behind bed head but bedside table would be more convenient). "This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel. I like this hotel very much because it has a fabulous view. I think all of the rooms have a sea view. The rooms are simple but clean and functional. The breakfast is very good. It is not near to restaurants, etc., but I always have my own rental car. "

"Hotel Del Mare is very close to the beach, restaurants and shopping areas. The roof deck is amazing at sunset. The breakfast room is lined in stone and gives a grotto feel. Food is good too. Staff are very accommodating. "

"We liked the property and had no real complaints.we were able to walk to hotel from the Train Station. However the area looked a bit shady by day but was much better at night. Go figure!! We would recommend and would return there. "

"Fantastic location for everything. Very walkable to ferries and the main square. Taxi's were pretty much right out front of the hotel if needed. Breakfast was good. Very clean. Restaurants and happy hours are plentiful .. will be back again."

"The room was small but had everything a larger room would have. There was also a balcony with double doors, fridge with the usual, marble bathroom and comfortable bed. Unfortunately, there was no restaurant and none close around other than pizza and pastry shops. "

"A good location without being in a noisy area. Breakfast was adequate but was at a designated time slot. View from terrace on top of building was perfect for sunsets but there was no food or beverages available on the terrace. Easy walk to main piazza and many restaurants. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room and limited bathroom amenities like tissues, body lotion and shampoo. Also no room safe for passports etc."
