「Stunning resort & brilliant for kids, with loads of activities & 4 different pools. Only gripe is with the cost of the food, far too expensive e.g €25 for a burger in one restaurant & when Sagres town is a hefty walk with young children in tow, you have little option but to eat on site. On reflection we wish we’d got an apt with a kitchen so we could’ve self catered」

「We stayed three night in August 2021. This hotel is very close to marina, well maintained and comfortable. Room is spacious with nice bathroom. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is a roof top swimming pool. It is convenient walking to downtown in 10-15 minutes. Breakfast is not included but I paid 9.5 euro for breakfast. The only reason I gave four star is due to its price, otherwise I will give 5 star.」

「We had 3 nights at Penina after a week in Vilamoura. We arrived at 1.30pm and were able to check in and use the facilities straightaway. We had a mountain facing room which was fine for a short stay. The buffet restaurant was disappointing - the Mexican food was very bland. The Italian restaurant wasn’t much better, the scallops hadn’t been seared, neither had the skin on the sea bass.
