「Magnolias is exactly what it is advertising. A great place to stay for a few nights when visiting RVA. Super close to the RIC. Easy to get to and from downtown. Very comfortable. Well worth the price.」

「Comfortable property, however we had a very long and detailed list of chores to do before we could check out, even though we payed for cleaning service. We also had to take our trash with us and bring our own trash bags. Left the trip with a bit of frustration. If you plan on staying here plan on spending few hours cleaning.」

「This is a nice, older large house on the lake. It was a good location, right on the lake, and there were enough canoes and floats for the kids to use, with spare life jackets. Our only gripe was that the kitchen was not well-equipped. There were no pots and the pans, knives cookware was really old and unusable. So much so that we went to the local store and bought two pots and a frying pan for our use. One of the upstairs bedrooms did not have any side tables. Where do you put your water glass...

We were there very early spring so mostly rain, and a lot of things are not yet open this time of year yet. 「Had some trouble with entry code not working but host was very quick to help. The ice bin was empty and we were told to just give it a little time, but no ice appeared until the next day. A bag of ice should be provided when the ice maker is empty. Surface cleaning was great but after a day there we saw that deep cleaning doesn’t get done.
