「My time at Passal Hostel was a real surprise. Paulo is so welcoming you immediately feel at home and above all he is so helpful and approachable. He took so much time for each guest to mention all the possibilities of exploring the island. I always find criticism important in order to become better and better and so I can only mention the humidity which is simply noticeable and for some is not advantageous and I would also find a shoe rack outside the rooms simply more pleasant for all guests....

「The place was nice and big enough for the 2 of us. The bed/mattress was bad/warn mattress. There were a lot, and I mean a lot, of bugs in the bathroom, especially in the evening they came out. Hopefully the accommodation is able to do something about that. 」

「This B&B is a hidden gem on the island. Excellent location (downtown) made walking to the harbour effortless. Close to many restaurants and sites. Amazing owners and staff with a breakfast feast that caters to each guests preference with lots of fresh fruit from their organic garden. 「What a GREAT surprise. No regular Motel experience here. Like staying in your Grandma's House. Everyone staying has a place set for Breakfast. Great Conversation and trip discusions. Breakfast is all local sourced, really good! Yogurts.Jambs, Breads, Fruits, eggs. and coffee your way! I met all German people and had a great time. Did a local hike with the owner and some guests. This was a great start to a wonderfull trip! 」
