「The hotel was definitely clean and the staff was very friendly. The hot breakfast buffet had limited options but tasted good. The juice in the buffet was watered down with ice (you could see it in the juice container). The doors in the hotel room were not fitted in the frame properly so two of the doors in my suite would not close. The TV in the main area of my suite was missing its cables so it couldn’t be watched. 」

「We stayed here to be close to a graduation in Lawrence. Rate was good and fun had plenty of space. The courtyard was nice and comfortable. The room could use some upkeep (regular maintenance stuff) but nothing terrible. There was no elevator so getting a heavier bag up the stairs was s little cumbersome, but may be a consideration if that would be difficult or if stairs are a challenge. Overall not a bad place and would stay again. 」

It was after 6 so thought it's okay now. Got to our room, no hot water. Went to call front desk, there was no phone on our room. Called from my cell phone. Asked when hot water would be fixed. 「The room was good as was service. My only complaint would be breakfast, specifically the waffles. It's clear they are trying to save money, at the expense of the customers, the waffle batter is being watered down, tacky. They don't have the batter in the dispenser, they keep cups of it in the fridge. They also don't have oil to spray on the waffle iron, so the waffles stick. There also are no cups for the juice, so you have to use the coffee cups, no biggie I guess, just more cheap evidence of...

「Overall the stay was pleasant with a few minor quirks. The hotel was clean and welcoming, the room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable with clean soft sheets. The bathroom tap (faucet) constantly dripped, I couldn’t hear it with the bathroom door closed. The plug in the bath was covered in mouldy limescale, clearly hasn’t been cleaned although the bath itself was clean.
