“This trip was for my kiddo’s 14th birthday! She wants to be a national park ranger when she grows up, so what better place to take her than the great Smokey mountains! In saying that, I wanted to find somewhere that would be fun and different. When we came across Gorgeous Stays I knew we must book it! I went back and fourth because they had so many options to stay in however, we decided to go with the schoolie bus which was decorated in all national park decor. It was perfect! Scott and Wendi……

“The Tapoco Lodge is absolutely beautiful and the staff was amazing. The cabin we stayed in felt like everything was antique but somehow still new. My only complaint was that Expedia allowed me to book it as a pet-friendly room when the actual room I chose wasn’t pet-friendly. The Tapoco honored the reservation anyway and took care of us. They were terrific. My wife is already asking if we can stay here again. ”

“The cabin is an apartment. Like 10 guest to a cabin. Had a hard time parking because of all the construction lumber piled up in the parking lot. Also no electrical outlets in the bathroom. ☹️”

“Quiet area within an easy walk to the resort restaurant and across the highway to some comfort food. The cabin interior was clean, well appointed with utensils and a Kuerig. Had some access code trouble with the door, but Tyler was quick to respond and get us into our cabin! Thanks, Tyler!”

“We took the motorcycles out for a trip. The cabin is at the end of The Tail of The Dragon. We rode many beautiful roads from the cabin. It’s does have a musty smell but everything was nice inside. Little cover for the two bikes.”

“Good- Great view of Lake from Upper Deck, Kayaks provided and good lake Access, Great star gazing, AC works great Bad & The Ugly- House is surrounded by 3 abandoned properties, old RV, a junky lot and a dilapidated "Barge" in the water, the outside of the property needs some TLC, dish washing and paper supplies were sparse”
