This is the closest I have stayed to Masjid up Aqsa in my four times visiting, and out of the different hotels, This was the most accommodating as well as clean. 「I love historic hotels such as this one. Everything is clean and atmospheric ,I liked my room very much. The attached restaurant serves nightly specialtes of local recipes. On the expensive side though I've found all dining in Israel is relatively expensive compared with Europe and other countries. The location is excellent next to Garden Tomb and easily walkable to Damascus Gate. Helpful owner. Breakfast included. Recommended and would stay again. 」

「The room was very comfortable, with newly renovated bathroom and a nice French window. The owner/manager Eli is wonderful, very helpful and made me feel right at home. He invited me to freely use the kitchen and laundry facilities and provided tips as I walked around the old city. The only difficulty I had was locating the property when I first arrived nice the building has no posted property name along the main Street Jaffa. But its located close to the Jaffa and Damascus gates and the garden...

「Fantastic location! The renovated room has a smaller bathroom than the older rooms. The new room needed more bars and hooks for hanging towels. The shower needed a bigger lip to prevent leaking water into the rest of the bathroom. The food is tasty and with different options. The staff is courteous, competent, helpful and accommodating.」

「Hotel service and rooms were great. We were there when war started and they took care of us. Upgraded us to a suite. The location worked for us since we were near a relative and also near the highway so we got to airport quicker. The rooms were nice and clean and breakfast buffet was also good for the price. 」
