Adorable hotel! Loved how close and walkable it was to the everything. Plenty of dining options. If anything to comment, we never had our rooms cleaned the 3 nights we were there. I am not entirely sure what the schedule is for rooms to be cleaned and reset, but no one came to provide additional towels, refresh the sheets. We did have an issue with getting a new roll of toilet paper. Their spare was stained with a brown liquid. I had called down from my cell phone - room phone was not working. And got an answering machine for the hotel, left a message and never received a call back or response. We ended up walking to Walgreens and buying our own. Long story short- cute hotel, not worth the price for no room cleaning services / personal amenities

It would have been helpful to have a QR code or something in the room which outlined the services offered at the hotel and hours. We eventually found it on the tv but we didn’t come to Charleston to watch tv.

Getting around hotel is ridiculous, had to walk across hotel to use elevator and then again to get to another elevator and back across to the room. Rooms are tiny. Usually I don’t mind but the banged my leg into the bed frame about 3 times in our weekend stay. Bathroom you have to straddle the toilet to get the door closed. No towels at pool. Area is cute but also tiny like everything else. Charged my card about 5 times… overall we wanted to stay at a trendy hotel downtown and got the “trendy” but not much else.

Very clean property and amazingly helpful staff. All our needs were quickly addressed, and all were extremely happy to help. My only negative is the pool area was quite small with limited seating. Location was perfect, right in the middle of everything.

The Ryder was perfect for a quick getaway! It’s located right off King Street and within walking distance of all the shops, restaurants and bars. Also, about 20-40 minutes from Folly Beach depending on traffic. Staff is very friendly. The amenities were great. Make sure to go to the Little Palm while you are there! Clayton, the valet, was so friendly and gave the best recommendations.
