「Well let me start with the location of the house. On VRBO the house location on map is just east of the center of town. In reality it is 12 km (according to google) south of downtown. I contacted the owner about the house address because I was trying to arrange a golf trip and needed transportation. Never got a physical address till we landed. 「My family of six (spouse, three kids, mother-in-law) had a great time at Chez Pom. The house is right between the old city and the night bazaar, so there was plenty of night life to be had within walking distance. Yet because the house is set back from the street it was surprisingly quiet. The house was very clean, and the AC in each room was wonderful. 「The apartment literally has everything that you need for a great stay. It is well appointed, and spacious, without having any wasted space. The front porch area is lovely, with nice flowers and plants, and it is on a very quiet street. Just ignore the rooster. He is part of the experience anyway. 「Fantastic property and location. Host was great and also hooked us up with an amazing tour guide, Gaan, who coordinated all of our tours for 4 days and transportation to and from the airport. Property was centrally located to plenty of food and easy to get to with taxis and tuk tuks. House had plenty of room for the 4 of us.」

「The property was difficult to find for the Grab driver, but itself was alright. It is next to a tattoo parlor and bar, but the bar owner was wonderful and friendly. We were told by a local that we were in the "red light" district, which explained quite a bit. The residence itself was fine. Living room and kitchen were nice size.
