「The Kist is one of the most beautiful accommodations, we‘ve ever been. Surrounded by fields & hills, with a lot of animals around you, it is very quiet. On the other hand the next greater town (Stirling) is not far away and from there you can travel by train very easy and fast to Glasgow and Edinburgh. Stirling is also worth visiting. The accommodation is very nice and equipped and Ilona and her husband are very helpful landlords. I hope, we will come back one day!」

「A beautiful part of Scotland to stay in, with lots of information about the surrounding area available for us when we arrived. The house was well equipped with everything that we needed our only issue being that the beds were not very comfortable, despite this we had a lovely stay in a part of the country we had not visited before.」

「We enjoyed our stay at 3 Alan Park. Very centrally located. We were able to drive to the national forest one day, go to Glenock one day, go to Saint Andrews one day. Easy walk to Sterling Castle. The hosts were very good to respond. We had a little issue finding parking at first, but figured it out with their help. As the hosts have mentioned, if you don’t do stairs, this is not the apartment for you. The kitchen had everything you need. Wi-Fi worked great.」

「Beautiful place, hosts are just lovely, so accommodating and friendly. Hot tub and pool are very relaxing with the best of views from the hot tub. Only downside is the road up but it's worth it」

「The pod was more than we had hoped for, comfortable fully equipped nothing left to chance. In a quiet well maintained are with outdoor seating and table. Inside a comfortable bed, excellent shower (Despite my pet hate of electric showers this one actually worked with good pressure and heat ) The whole place was immaculate with a microwave, kettle, toaster and two rings for cooking, plus my wife's favourite a Teapot. Pots, pans, cutlery and sharp knives all supplied and a variety of other cooking...

The sound of sheep bleating if you crack one of the many the windows - charming. Church and old cemetery next door - charming. Young deer visits daily just outside the dining/living area - charming. I docked one star on cleanliness because I found a pacifier under one of the beds and I know they allow dogs but the kitchen smelled like dog -less...
