“The place was clean, cozy, and perfectly situated between Victoria and Nanaimo, offering an amazing view. We booked it to celebrate our wedding anniversary but encountered a misunderstanding about the property facilities at the beginning. Kathy resolved the issue quickly and professionally, making our night even better than we had planned. She even had placed some sweets to welcome us and congratulate us on our anniversary. “We've been to this property many times however there were a few snags with this trip. We asked if a playpen was available via email and phone call. We were told we would be called the day before to be informed if we could have one - they never communicated with us. Our cottage (43) also had terrible water pressure. There was zero water coming out of the top floor bathrooms sink, and the bath trickled water - so it took 45 minutes to fill it if you wanted to use it. I informed management via……

“This space had good separation of space, making it possible for people to step out for a nap. We had an unusually rainy day, and thus greatly appreciated the comfortable common space to read or play scrabble. The bbq is located in a covered deck, so we could still cook in the rain. The location near the end of the road and ferry terminal means that other than bursts of traffic for ferry’s the road is quiet. I found beach access an easily walkable couple of blocks away. “Nice private cottage in a great location. Had all the amenities required and we loved the hot tub. As mentioned before in some of other reviews it’s needs a deep clean, windows, curtains washed etc to make it shine. Garden around house need to be tidied up and trimmed up a bit to make it feel more loved.”

“In a lovely new neighborhood up in maple bay, we really enjoyed our little place while we attended a dance competition at the cowichan theater. Laundry, full kitchen, & a really nice fresh bread dropped off by the lovely hosts. I just wouldn’t ever want a hotel after this. Hosts were quick with responses to my questions. Grateful :)”
