“This cottage was the perfect place for a romantic getaway. The views were spectacular and it was a very peaceful setting-inside and out. We enjoyed waking up to the serene gardens in the front of the property surrounded by coastal trees. The property sat on a bluff overlooking the ocean-amazing sunsets, beautiful and private. There were many bird sightings (including a grey heron who visited us) and we enjoyed the nature within the area-Noyo Headlands Park, Glass Beach, and the Mendocino……

“This beautiful little property is right on the ocean and surrounded by beautiful forest. It was clean, homey, and well-stocked with kitchen supplies (not a full kitchen but enough to heat up lunch or make a little breakfast). The view of the ocean is unmatched. “The house was adorable and perfect for our relaxed little family of four and fur kids. We are easy going and really don’t need too much. With that said it was a rainy weekend and the walk from our vehicle to the house was extremely wet, socks, shoes, bottom of pants soaked. A nice little stepping stone walkway would be awesome. But unlike the rest of my family I packed rain boots and didn’t have an issue. The area was serene the hike to the beach definitely a crows mile, we didn’t ever end up……

Above all the things to do in town, as well as the games and books to read at the cottage, it was truly a place to be able to slow down, breathe, relax, remember what's important in life. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood and the neighbors were friendly. We utilized a local taxi service to get us to and from the house into town so that we could enjoy some libations. The barbecue was just perfect to help us create some memorable meals and the entire process to use the property……
