I would stay here again
The OneFive Terrace was comfortable, with great amenities, and in a great location (not far from the Canal City shopping center). The lobby was attractive, the price was reasonable, and the room was clean and well-appointed. Temperature controls in the room were easy to understand and work with, so I could set the room to a comfortable temperature in the hot summer without much trouble. It was a very pleasant stay and if I return to Fukuoka in the future I would definitely stay here again.

I expected the bed to be made the next morning after the first night stay but it was not. They did remove the trash and left clean towels and cleaned the shower and toilet area. A great place to stay

Good location, bad service
We recently stayed here, and we are a family of five. Stayed in a deluxe twin room. Upon arriving to the hotel it has a small parking lot and small lobby, looked like it has been recently renovated. There was a family who had just checked in and I noticed the receptionist was giving them some pastries and tea, I got excited because I thought we were going to receive the same service. We did not, I checked in and paid. I came back down a while later and there were more people checking in and receiving pastries and drinks. We only stayed 1 night, checked out early the next morning and when we came downstairs to check out the hostess rolled his eyes at us. The room was very nice, spacious, the shower was nice and had a tub also. Big enough for a family of 5. Beds were hard though. There’s a 7 eleven right next door so that’s convenient. And we really liked that it was a 10 minute walk to canal city mall. The location is great but service is terrible. I don’t think we will stay here again, we did not feel welcomed at all. Very disappointed.

Super big room
It's not quite near to subway but once you reach your room, you will forget all the tiredness. Really big room for Japan standard! I can open both my luggages & still have space to walk around. Love the big bathtub with onsen style & super king size bed too! If you don't mind to walk abit, it's really value for money

Great spot,great rooms,starting to age a bit but still a lot better than 95% of hotels in Japan.Big rooms,great bathrooms.This was once an upmarket love hotel,quietly converted to "normal hotel".Highly recommended.

Poor in every aspects. Not recommended!
Bad odors in room, noisy and bed uncomfortable. Front desk senior Manageress not able to help and yet with poor attitude. Need to charge extra to change to non-smoking room. Advertise rooms pictures misleading. Not recommended hotel.

Misleading listing, more a seedy hostel than hotel
VERY misleading photos - does not look like the property itself at all. Lobby resembled a hostel, room was covered in questionable stains, bathroom looked and smelled moldy, holes in walls were stuffed with kleenex to ‘repair’; you’re asked to return your key to the staff every time you leave your room (which we did not feel comfortable doing) and cleaning was not provided unless explicitly asked for. When we checked out, staff said they could not call us a cab to the airport, for some reason, which was quite an inconvenience. Decent location but many other, less expensive, cleaner looking options in the area. Do not recommend.

Location to downtown shopping & eating is about 10-15 mins walk. The building design tried to be a boutique hotel but quite run down & don't seem to upgrade it. The room I stayed was big compared to most Japan hotels even the 5 stars. The onsen style bath room itself can be a bedroom! Toilet & wash basin is separate. No English speaking staff available. It can be a very nice hotel if they renovate & upgrade the facilities, rooms & the building exterior.

I would not come back here. Even I want to change my reservations. They don't even have complimentary water bottles. The included breakfast of the booking is in another HOTEL !!. The entire lobby is dull and black colored walls. Misleading room pics of hotels.com

Nice hotel with good location
Spacious, clean and comfortable. Surprisingly can enjoy onsen bath in our luxurious room with reasonable price. Would definitely visit it again!

Fukuoka Nightmare
Staff was rude and unhelpful. Entire hotel reeked off cigarettes despite booking a smoke-free room. Inner corridors look as if it was a motel six with a cement roof. Rooms were horribly stained and smelled of mildew and cigarettes. The bed felt like a table with a blanket on it. When we tried to cancel and leave for another hotel they held us up for twenty minutes, insisting we call Expedia despite the fact that we said in English and Japanese that we didn’t want a refund and that they could keep the cancellation fee. Staff proceeded to laugh at us. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Could have been nice 20 years ago but it looks like it hasn’t been cleaned or updated since.

The 5th hotel is lovely, quite tricky to find as most of the locals didn’t know where it was. The bed was also not very comfortable if you do not like hard mattresses. However the shower and bath facilities were amazing!! And the room was spotless. The staff were also lovely.

Trying to be hip, location was good but the facility was older in needs of renovation. Although the room was generous in size its sofa was stained all over the shower had mold in the grout, dirty, dirty, dirty. No accommodations, food or coffee in the facilities. If this place was renovated it would be a very, very nice place to be.

BEWARE- AVOID 5th HOTEL WEST. BROTHEL DISTR
BEWARE!!! AVOID 5th HOTEL WEST AT ALL COST. SAVE YOUR MONEY (You will thank me). First, taxi drivers (and family when given address) had difficulty finding hotel location. Hotels.com did not specify “East” or “West” Hotel location. Tried to check-in at 1510 & room was still being “Cleaned” but luckily prostitutes had their room ready! Avoid 7-Eleven store behind hotel as single woman unless need to make extra money (no joke). Across from 7-11 is private club where these working girls enter if ticket # called- I was horrified! Can hear loud thumping music & DJ until 0430. As far as room... Chain smokers will love smell of room (found out after check-in, no non-smoking rooms at hotel). Just open window to get fresh air & hear catcalls all night of working girls. Pictures on Hotels.com are not of this hotel- false advertised. I attached real pics of room. The mini bar is 2 waters & 2 beers. Electronics are old & room decor cheap. Chair material worn & bed is nasty! That deep soak tub looked great in pics not in real life. No alarm clock is great when room rented by hour. I was so embarrassed & angry when family came to pick me up from hotel. Plus I was concerned about all of our safety! At $250/night my expectations were more (much more). BEWARE- THIS HOTEL IS A RIP OFF & NOT FOR SINGLE WOMEN OR FAMILIES!!! Avoid at all cost. As an single female American, made last night in Japan a huge disappointment. Learn from my mistake & stay away! Absolute NIGHTMARE!!! So very sad :-(

Unclean, in real need of repair and maintenance . Good location and the deck was great but did not make up for very poor cleanliness. The nightclub downstairs was very loud some nights to the point of vibrating everything in the room . The bed was the most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept in as was so hard.

Great Location in Fukuoka
This hotel has a great location next to the River in Fukuoka. The staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful. The room was a great size and had all the typical hotel amenities/toiletries provided. While the room in general was mostly very clean, the duvet/comforter was a bit dirty which was a disappointment. Thankfully the underlying bedsheets were fresh, clean sheets. Overall, it was a good stay and provided us a useful base for exploring Fukuoka from.

located 10 -15 walk to Canal City. Hotel is a small building, staff are friendly, room size is quite big, especially bathroom. The design of Lobby and hallway are very dark, seems more suitable for young individual and couple instead of family with kids. Furniture are very old, bed mattress was very hard, ceiling is quite low, i'm 5'7 and i can touch the ceiling without jumping.

5 star price at a 1 star love hotel.
Highly disappointing at this hotel, No parking available at check-in and even after check-in got moved 3 times. Once checked-in the nightmare begins... the hallway carpets are just dirty and rundown. once in the room its a bigger mess. The cleaning staff only did the bed and nothing else. Dirty / dusty chairs, dusty tables, dirty towels, dirty bathroom and to make EVERYTHING worse, they didn't even bother cleaning the refrigerator so it still had food from the previous guest. Would NEVER stay again, i had to check out a day early as it was just getting worse and worse.
