「Our first post lockdown trip within the country. We accidentally booked the accessible room. Staff was very helpful and changed to another normal room for our 4 night stay. Stylish room with well equipped kitchen. It was a bit warm in the room though. Another little down side was the ground floor room has less natural lights. Delicious breakfast from café Mayvn. 「The courtyard area is lovely. However they play canned music out there much of the day, so if your room faces the courtyard, as ours did, then you can hear it. I did not notice any soundproofing inside the hotel either (ie, hallway noise and noise from the floor above). The restaurant is lovely, great breakfast and nice bar upstairs. Outstanding location!」

「The food for breakfast is of limited variety and not all items are available on each day over the 6 days I stayed. 」

「The heater was not working in the first day, under -2 temperature in the winter. The staff should test the facilities in advance, considering such a classic, high-end, quality hotel.」

「This is the second time I live here. This time my room is next to an alley that you can hear people talking outside. It is a bit noisy compare to my first stay. The good side is the room and bathroom are still clean. A nice place to stay with a resonable price.」

「We only stayed one night, so overall is good and the staff are helpful and you have variety choices of breakfast. There is small issue of the socket, light, and clog drain in the wash basin, but since we only stayed one night so would reflect to ibis directly.」

We didn’t buy anything from there, but we borrowed hot water, water, ice, and glasses from them. Good location. Took about 20-25 min to walk to the main town center (castle, highstreet, old town).」

「While I appreciate Edinburgh was busy due to a big music concert, the marathon and it being a English Bank Holiday weekend, the hotel were clearly charging a premium which wasn't deserved! For the price, I've experienced significantly better accommodation throughput the world. 「Few things need to improve in the toilet. The shower is not strong enough, water pressure is week. The door to toilet should change to a sliding door in order to make more room to the toilet.」
