The room was lovely although the carpet around the bed hadn't been hoovered. The glasses were dirty, it looked like someone had used them to keep their toothpaste and toothbrush in. However, the staff were amazing! Very friendly and professional, nothing was too much trouble. The food was great too, although for clarity, the breakfast wasn't free as it says in your question. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Although weirdly located inside a football stadium, the rooms are lovely and quiet with comfortable beds. The top floor restaurant is handy and there are several great places to eat within a 15 minute walk. Wonderful to stay there and enjoy Edinburgh without having to stay in the busy central part of the city

First let me start by the positives. It is a lovely hotel with friendly staff. The hotel room was clean with some little refreshments like tea, coffeee, biscuits and crisps. The breakfast was lovely and the lady who served us was extremely friendly and helpful. What I feel let this hotel down & why I would not return again is the excessive fee to check in early. We arrived just after 14.00pm (check in starts at 15.00pm). As soon as we got to the reception the lady although friendly said check-in is not until 15.00pm. I asked if it was possible to check in early as it had been a very long journey and she said it depends if your room is ready & it will cost you £30.00 extra. As we had an event we were attending at Usher Hall starting at 15.45pm we wanted to get ready as quickly as possible as it is a 30 minute walk from the hotel. I reluctantly agreed to pay this fee. She then called through to someone to ask if the room was ready and was advised that it was. So we were basically charged £30.00 extra to get into our room about 45 minutes early despite the room already being ready. This seems very excessive to me. I have been to other hotels where if the room is ready they waive any such fees as a gesture of goodwill. It just put a downer on the trip really.

Fint hotel dårlig morgenmad.

Dejligt hotel. Rent, pænt og god service. Dog var morgenmaden noget af det ringeste vi nogensinde har fået på et firestjernet hotel. To slags kedeligt brød, lidt forskellige former havregryn og et yderst mærkeligt kødtårn, der ikke ligefrem giver lyst til at spise af det, hvis man ikke kan lide det der ligger øverst skal man sorterer, meget mærkeligt. Der var også et menukort med lidt forskellige varme retter at vælge mellem. Det var ikke hjemmelavede ting men noget fra en pakke der blev varmet under en varmelampe alt imens kokken fingererede pandekager og vafler for at se om de blev varme.

Svært fornøyd. Lå litt utenfor sentrum, men veldig enkelt å komme seg inn til sentrum med buss. Bussholdeplassene lå nærme hotellet.
