We stayed in the castle and it was so cool and quaint! It was quiet and the staff was so nice and helpful with what we needed. This is a great stop for a relaxing couple of days but it’s close enough to Edinburgh if you want to go there too.

We really appreciated Preston and Kiera. They were both so nice and helpful . They demonstrated the luxury and attention to out needs we were hoping to receive. The grounds are beautiful. The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. We recommend a stay here.

Absolutely beautiful castle! Everything so well maintained, staff knowledgeable of gluten free needs. Staff was very helpful in everything. My only thing was I didn’t have slippers in my room. Other than that our stay was absolutely fantastic.

We were upgraded to a room in the castle, which I would highly recommend. Our son loved the cozy cubby bed, complete with its own light and window, and a curtain he could pull for privacy. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent—one of the best meals of our trip—and the restaurant staff were friendly and attentive.

This is a beautiful property and just amazing amenities, grounds, room and beautiful cozy bed. Feels very special to be there and the library and other common areas are also fabulous. Small issue with not getting the room I paid for but I am seeking remedy from the Castle and Expedia and hopefully will be sorted with a partial refund. Gorgeous though.

There was a bit of a mixup at check in and it took a bit to get it sorted out. After we got to our room, which was lovely, the rest of the time was wonderful. Dinner and breakfast were excellent and the wait staff was very nice. Shout out to Ruairidh who made our dinner experience very entertaining.
