"The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. I was given early check in at no extra cost. The location is 10/10. Breakfast was lovely. The gym is basic but does the job for a short stay. I had a very pleasant experience and would definitely return. "

"This place was perfect for what we needed. It's not luxury by any stretch but you aren't paying for luxury. It was comfy, clean and did everything we need. The staff on the desk was very nice. The building itself is absolutely beautiful. Definitely worth a stay if you dont want to pay ridiculous prices "

"Liked this hotel very much. The room was lovely, well equipped, and very comfortable. And the view of the castle was pretty nice too. The only slight negative was that the cooked breakfast (waffles and Eggs Benedict) was all right but not wonderful, so not quite up to the standard of the rest of the hotel. Everything else was terrific."

"This is my first experience with Virgin Hotels. I must say, it exceeded my expectation in every way. The staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed in a church suite room which was incredibly spacious, super comfortable and well appointed. I was particularly impressed with the eco friendly lighting and climate control experience. The unique branding and artwork is very apparent and appealing. I would highly recommend Virgin and this Edinburgh location was ideal. "

"We recently stayed at this hotel and were really impressed by the overall look and feel of the place. The hotel itself is beautiful—stylish, modern, and well-maintained. The furniture and facilities were fantastic, and it’s clear that a lot of care has gone into the design and upkeep. However, the housekeeping service could use some improvement. Check-in was advertised for 3pm, but unfortunately, our room wasn’t ready until 3.45pm. On our first full day, we left the hotel at around 10.30am and...

"Staffs were very approachable. Very nice to stay since they offer 3 adults in a single room. But, the walls were thin since we could hear the neighbours. Furthermore, we left our luggage in the hotel for free when we checked out. But what I dont like was when we claim our luggage, they did not check the claim stab and they just let us in and get our own bags which is quite not safe.if thats there way of claiming the bags, we would lost our bags anytime. "
