Rudest staff/manager and worst budget inn as this is not even a hotel. Had previously booked for 2 guests and as we got to the hotel, my parents and I were asked to book another room as the other one can't be in the room which we understood. Have contacted Expedia to make it to 3 guests instead but they weren't able to as they already checked us in. We went into the room to talk about booking another room or hotel as my parents wanted us to be all together in one room. So by 2pm, we booked a much better (which I should've done in the first place) with the nicest and kindest front desk agents. We went to the new hotel to check in and went back to Point A to grab our stuff and next thing we know, Expedia called me to let me know that they will call the police on us if one wouldn't leave the hotel, unbelievable and very inconsiderate for them to not even ask or think that we're only taking our stuff to transfer to the other hotel. Money wasn't the problem as we will truly book another as 3 guests can't be accomodated but this kind of welcome to us to this beautiful country was beyond unpleasant, discourteous and ill-mannered. We truly understand that they're doing their job but there's a better way of handling this but to threaten us was a different thing. We didn't even touch a single thing from this inn and not even a single soul slept in the room we still managed to pay because of what happened. I will never recommend this to anyone.

This place was great only downside is that there’s no parking available. We had to pay a parking spot 2 blocks away so not terrible. Walk to the Edinburgh castle it’s only 12 minutes.

This hotel is very modern and incredibly clean. The rooms are pretty small. We had one of the larger rooms and it was small. The bed was very comfortable and linens were spotless. The breakfast was very good, and the lounge area was quite big, so guests could hang out there if they were too cramped in their rooms. The rooms themselves don’t have a lot of amenities, no frig or coffee/tea pot. Only bath towels. No closet. That being said, we enjoyed our stay here. The location was a short walk to the Haymarket train station and a bus stop was just outside of the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Quiet street still close to everything. Hotel staff are awesome and there’s 24 hour desk personnel. They also have snacks, coffee, and a bar in house that stays open late with fair prices. Great tea room across the street (honeycomb tea room) with affordable breakfast ran by a local chef.

Stayed here in March 24 and were very happy with our choice of hotel. The rooms were a bit on the small side but we found everything to to be spotlesssly clean. The staff were excellent, very friendly and approachable. We would definely recommend this hotel.

The staff were quite friendly and helpful. Also the place was clean. Not too convenient, but good enough. My room was quite spartan. There were no amenities whatsoever. No water, coffee, or tea not even tissues. I felt fortunate to have toilet tissue. The place, however, was clean and the staff kind and accommodating and all in all that is what counts.
