If you are looking for a comfortable stay in a historical mansion with superb views of the water and an old-school feel, this is the perfect place, and even the well-thought out and strictly implemented Covid-19 restrictions (and the changeable weather) don't take the gloss off the experience.

Very good hotel with history, and convenient to have golf playing in the old course, however, the services provided by receptionists are not that professional, very bad face.

All the staff were excellent, extremely good service. The location is great, it's closed to most of the attraction in the city centre. I would highly recommend this hotel to those who are planning to go to Edinburgh.
