The room was nasty and the toilet had not been flushed. The front desk was kind enough to swap rooms, but the new room was also unclean. Dust, grimy bath tub, water stains on the ceiling

This was the perfect choice for this particular trip. There is no way I could be happier with the room, the breakfast, and the location. The people were very nice but most of all i like the privacy and separation of the 2 beds.

The rooms here are lovely. I especially love the unique footprint of the room where two beds are each at opposite ends of the room with the bathroom and small kitchenette area between them.

Peeling paint and caulking in the bathroom. Assist bar came out of the mounting holes in tub surround when using, just slid back and forth. After knee surgery i needed it but almost fell. Definitely a safety issue.

Rooms are very spacious. Beds were comfortable. The rooms were clean and fresh smelling. Easy walk to a few restaurants. Outside area needed some much needed cleaning of landscaping. The staff friendly. Would stay again.

I personally do not feel the room was cleaned properly, baseboard were rather dirty, shower top ledge was extremely dusty. Tub did not drain, air/heating unit didn't work properly

Room had an unpleasant odor when entering, loose tile in bathroom, TV in bedroom wouldn't work, hot water was scalding and had steam rising out of faucet burning hands..

Subpar, bed wasn't great, breakfast wasn't anything special( cereal and a waffle maker), and the staff was confusing. Our second night the keys weren't working so we went to the desk and they told us there was no reservation for the room we we're staying in. The second night... we had already slept there and all our things were in the room. Got it sorted out and whatever. Our third and final night the keys did not work again so we went to the desk, the girl asked what room it was without asking our name or anything and programmed the keys again. I questioned her about verifying who we were and shebsaid people don't lie about that... we could have told her literally any room and got the key... never staying there again. Rooms were good size tho

Pros: Very nice staff. Easy to get to. The price is right. Cons: Breakfast was lacking protein. Property is a little dated. Fox News on in the lobby every time I came through.

We had two tvs in our first room. Great, but neither worked. In the middle of the night a wall unit started making a noise like a jack hammer. We finally went down to the front desk around 3 in the morning and ended up switching rooms. In this new room we could only hear road noise. The tv didn’t work here either.

I had an upstairs room and everytime i took a step the floor creaked. also there is only one entrance into or out of the building. if there is a fire at the front entrance you are trapped unless you go out a window!

This was our 3rd overnight stay at the Econo Lodge in Grand Rapids. Have chosen the hotel because of it’s cleanliness,location to the airport and most importantly the efficiency,professionalism and kindness of the stafff.

Packed with long term guests
The first night was terrible. We were put in a ground floor suute, however the people upstairs were playing WWE or IFC in the room...not watching it...acting ut out. Loud crashes, furniture being dragged around etc. This lasted most of the night. The following moring however, visited the front desk and they modified our room assignment. Very happy with that overall. Good location, close to shopping and quite a few restaurants
