Gunma Prefecture Ski Hotel

"We enjoyed our three night stay very much, and we're happy that we chose this hotel. The room was a good size and fit our needs. The only complaint was the terrible pillows and fairly hard beds. The restaurant proved to be decent. My Japanese wife loved the breakfast choices and I was happy with some western basics, like great scrambled eggs, reasonable sausages terrific coffee and granola. The real treat was the outside Onsen, we chose to go when others were sleeping or dining. Easily...

"We love staying at historic hotel. Best feature of Natalya is it's on-site onsen which is convienently accessible for hotel guests. Dining was great but they need more staff training for international guests. Checkout was a bit chaotic and inefficient with guests sitting around in the lobby waiting for the turn to be checked out (two staff at reception, and only one was doing all the checkouts). "Beautiful scenery and town. Shopping and services are close, but in 5 or 10 minutes walking you can be in the mountains with natural hot spring streams or 15 minutes skiing. Bustling and quiet at the same time. "

"This was amazing onsen beside the Yubatake (which is right in front on the hotel) so you are in the middle of the town they have Yukata you can borrow and take wear to walk and take pictures outside too. Breakfast and dinner had a lot of options and was really good. Make sure to Book Hal-Board, it is worth it! They have onsen eggs for breakfast too! "Nice place; comfortable and clean; utilizes beautiful public bath nearby. Had to park a couple blocks away and walk."

"It is an older building without elevator. It has a small onsen that only 4 people are allowed to use at the same time. Different onsen for male and female I have no problem using the onsen. The room has toilet and wash basin but no shower. Light breakfast is included. The Ryokan is located right in town. Just a short walk to the Yubatake. The staff are friendly and helpful. Overall, it is a decent place to stay overnight. "
