「We loved our stay at Diamonds Old West! Our cabin was great and clean. The kids loved all of the activities on site for them. There are fire pits behind each cabin so bring what you’ll need for s’mores with you including the roasting sticks. They sell firewood on site but you can also bring your own. Mining and restaurants are close. Great place to spend some time with family!」

The people that live there for extended periods of time are really nice, it's a miner's camp right up the road from Crater of Diamonds. You have to cross the road to get to the restroom center (it's like a lake community bathroom) but the road wasn't all that active that you had to worry about it. It was a 20 minute drive to anything. Our only real complaint was the bedroom area was small. There was only enough room on the sides of the bed for one of us to get out, so I had to slide down the bed to get out.」

「No one in the office. Pushed a ring door bell someone came from across the highway. Just was told key was in the cabin and that it was unlocked. Didn’t see a sole the whole weekend. We were left to find for ourselves. I cleaned the ac filter it was yucky and it worked better. The mattress was awful. Beds need replaced. We did enjoy the stay. It was within yards of the crater. Not sure if I will stay again.」

「Myself and friends went for my birthday- bucket list to dig diamonds. I stayed in cabin #3 and they stayed in #2. I don't require the taj mahal and it worked just fine. It had cold air, a clean nice mini fridge and a microwave (I never used the microwave). The bathroom/ shower house is that of an older well used campground shower house and could use a face lift but gets the job done. No HVAC system, room heater wouldn't work, ceiling in living room coming down, screen porch in poor repair, no towels (think at least there should be) no outlet in. bathroom and no place to plug in hair dryer & use a mirror. 「Cute metal building conversion. There were plenty of places to sleep. Two twins, a double, and a queen. Queen was on wheels and we had adventures each time one of us would get on or off the bed. It ONLY moved 4-6 inches. LOL! Location was great. We appreciated the supply of tools to use at the Crater of Diamonds; just down the road a few minutes. When using the bathroom we’re made sure our waist and chests looked great! Haha. Overall, we’d stay again.」

「The cabin was exactly as described. We loved the wrap around porch and that it was gated. So our granddaughter could run and play and we could set and relax and not have to chase a toddler down. The only down side was they were working on the cabin next door to us. And they had dogs. I love dogs, we have dogs. But we don’t allow our dogs to run everywhere and certainly not to other property. The dogs were small but very aggressive and they would not listen to the owner and return on their own....

The house was set up so nice (more kitchen items than in other places we've stayed). And above all, when traveling with a 2 year old, this place was so nice and had washer/dryer and ALL the soap ready for us to use. It has a soaker tub, with jets, worked beautifully.
